This artwork is inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window, also inspired by Jean Novel’s architecture, such as Cartier Art Center Museum. His intense use of glass in the facade of architecture reminds me of the transparency materials and the problem of privacy. There are two kinds of intentions that people look into the window to see things. One is about the curiosity about beauty. The other one is hidden prying desire which is secret.
